Link's Update - 03/18/2009 - The End is Here!
Hey all,
That's right! Take that Radec and your little cheap trick dog too!
Killzone 2...complete!
I'm still super annoyed at the developer for messing with my experience with this end boss, but darned if they didn't have me frothing at the mouth when I saw the ending movie! Give me Killzone 3 right now!!
Anyway, very soon I'm going to make a discussion board post on our new facebook page that will tell everyone in detail how I beat Radec, because everywhere I searched, there wasn't a good answer. I would like to ease some frustrated people out there. Don't worry, I'll put the 'spoiler' disclaimer up on the post.
What's that, you didn't know about the discussion board, or our new facebook page? Oh, my bad! Well the low-down here is, go to www.facebook.com, sign in, look for Bacon Ice Cream Productions, join our group, and then welcome to our social networking arm! We hope people will find us from all over and our community will grow! Be sure to check it out!
Back to business...
After completing the campaign, it's natural that I'd want to take on multiplayer. I did so after running a few errands, and I've got to tell you, I didn't want to put the controller down when it was time to make dinner!
It's sooooo good! The way they have the games set up is awesome. I'm the kind of player who likes all different types of match settings, but I hate going back and forth through loading screens and menus to get there. Here it's only one load directly into a map, and then the game dynamically changes the match type based on time and completion. No waiting, just as soon as one type is finished, you can continue racking up kills, and then you'll get a radio message from your 'in game commander' and he'll let you know what match type is about to begin. Then it starts. That's it. Amazing.
And the rank-up system is cool too. You can gain xp, as well as all sorts of other goodies. I only played for a few hours, but I was able to level twice, and snag a few ribbons. I'll report more about this later, when I get some more time with it.
So now that I don't have a single-player game to play at home, what will I do next? Perhaps I'll check out Watchmen: The End is Nigh, or maybe dive into some LOST: Via Domus. We'll see what strikes me next.
Well, I've better hit the sack soon, work calls real early for me tomorrow.
Catch you all later, either here or elsewhere!
Night!
