Link's Update - 03/14/2009 - Did Link speak too soon?
Hey all,
Ok, so I may have overreacted about the whole ease of unlocking Gouken in Street Fighter IV thing. You see, there is this other mode to the left of "very easy" called...well...easiest. And in that mode, almost anyone can do things like get the 3 or so perfects and 3 or so Ultra finishes. You can even not die when you get to Seth because magically he doesn't cheese the ish out of you during Round Two!
How do I know this? I know because I came home, ready to give it another go, accidentally hit the d-pad on the mode selection screen and then noticed the previously mentioned mode. I then proceeded to pound every opponent I came across, and end every round but one with either a perfect or a Ultra finish. Seth was no match for me now! Took him out, then Gouken (which was the round I got a lowly regular finish) and he was mine. Piece of cake.
So well, my bad to Capcom about that, but I'm still pissed about the whole multiplayer thing. Really, it should be an even playing field.
Now in the words of Jeremy Clarkson, "On that bombshell, we're off!"
It feels weird to not have anything more for you guys, but fear not. More will be on it's way soon.
